Antenatal Education

Informative & Bespoke

We cover all key aspects of birth, including the physiology of labour, birth hormones, induction, and creating personal birth preferences. You'll learn practical comfort techniques, the stages of labour, and the importance of the "Golden Hour." Our sessions also provide hands-on guidance in birth positions, biomechanics, massage, and essential preparations for both hospital and home births—ensuring you feel confident, informed, and empowered every step of the way. We also discuss how birth partners can offer effective support and explore strategies for navigating unexpected changes with confidence and clarity.

In Labour birth support

Support on the big day!

During labour, I provide continuous reassurance, encouragement, and hands-on comfort, including massage, breathing techniques, and position support. I help create a calm birth environment, advocate for your preferences, and ensure you and your partner feel fully supported.

After birth, I assist in those first precious moments—helping with skin-to-skin contact, breastfeeding (if desired), and ensuring you feel nurtured as you transition into parenthood. My role is to hold space for you, so you feel empowered, respected, and cared for throughout this journey.

Postnatal support

Here for you when you get home

A few days after birth, I’ll visit to offer gentle, reassuring support as you adjust to life with your baby. I provide breastfeeding guidance, a safe space to reflect on your birth experience, and signposting to trusted professionals if additional support is needed. This visit is also a chance to address all the questions that often come up in the first few days—whether about feeding, sleep, recovery, or newborn care. Beyond this visit, I am available for six weeks post-birth for anything at all, offering continued support and reassurance as you navigate this new chapter with confidence.

Doula Mentor/Coach

Doulaing the Doula

I have been a Doula UK Mentor for six years and am now also a Birth Bliss Doula Coach. Supporting newly qualified doulas as they begin their journey is something I’m deeply passionate about. As a mentor and coach, I provide guidance, encouragement, and practical support to help new doulas grow in confidence, develop their skills, and navigate the early stages of their careers. Whether it’s refining their approach to client care, building a sustainable business, or simply offering a listening ear, I am committed to helping them find their own unique path in this rewarding work.

To hear me talk more about mentoring, listen to my conversation on the Doula Dispensary Podcast, Episode 22.
